To understand the fundamental trade theories and trade policies.
To examine the financial aspects of international trade, including exchange rates and foreign exchange market.
To explore the role of international organizations in trade regulation and facilitation.
To evaluate the economic integration and economic factors which effect to international trade.
To apply the knowledge of international trade to real-world trade issue through case studies and practical examples
To help the students apply the knowledge of economics to the current situation.
Foundations in international trade theories, trade policy and investment are explored. Specific content includes: patterns of international trade, gains from trade, objectives and impacts of trade policy, international factor movement, multinational and foreign direct investments, economic integration, the international money market, balance of trade and balance of payment, international foreign exchange, economic development, and international organizations.
The faculty member provides academic advice and guidance to students (individual/group)
