Objectives of the Course
1.1 To understand the legal environment and principles of commercial law.
1.2 To describe the essential features of juridical acts, contracts, and commercial transactions.
1.3 To identify the rights, duties, and liabilities of parties in commercial dealings.
1.4 To apply critical thinking in analyzing commercial cases and legal problems.
1.5 To integrate commercial law principles into international business contexts and practices.
2.1 To enhance students’ knowledge and skills in commercial law and modern business transactions.
2.2 To enable students to apply commercial law principles effectively in business operations and everyday decision-making.
2.3 To align the course with current economic trends, international trade practices, and global legal standards.
Examines the legal framework of commercial law with an emphasis on sale, rent, hire- purchase, loan, warranty, and mortgage contracts. Law of international trade, law of transportation, law of insurance, international currency control and exchange, concerning contract, abuse of dominant position, mergers and acquisitions, unfair trade practices, judgment and dispute resolution, and case studies of commercial laws will be discussed.
