CHARADES

-One learner will choose a sentence from a strip of paper, act it out, and the other learners will have to make up/guess the words/sentences. Learners are only permitted to speak in English when making their guesses.

FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS

-Drawing in accordance with the professor's instructions, learners then present their work to the class. Indicate whether the learners correctly followed the directions.

There is a house. The house has two windows and one door. The house is between two trees. One tree is bigger than the house. It is on the right. The other tree is smaller than the house. In the tree which is smaller than the house are many apples. Under the tree which is larger than the house two dogs are sleeping.

In the middle of the picture is a big chair.  Standing on the chair is a very thin woman with long legs.  She is wearing glasses and an apron.  She is scared because there is a big snake under the chair.  The snake is smiling because it is going to eat the spider in front of it.

Following Directions 3
There’s a table in the middle of the picture and a cat is under the table. Near the table is a chair.  There’s a very fat boy sitting on it.  He’s very fat, and very happy because there’s a big cake on the table and he’s going to eat it in a minute.  The cat is happy too; he’s going to eat the mouse which is under the fat boy’s chair.

FAMILY FEUD

-Divide the class into two teams. One member of each team faces the other in a face-off as the teacher reads the question off the game board. The team that buzzed in with the correct answer receives control of the board and has the option of playing or passing control to the other team.

-List 30 Thai words and ask the students to translate them into English.

-Gather the learners' responses, then let each one choose a piece of work created by a classmate to read aloud and explain to the class.

PRESENTATION 
(Discuss the basic components of a presentation)

-INTRODUCTION, BODY and CONCLUSION) 
an introduction detailing the purpose and structure of the talk; 
a body covering the main points; and a conclusion summarizing and highlighting the significance of your talk.
In general, the introduction should be about 10-15% of your speaking time, the body around 75%, and the conclusion only 10%.

1	The objective is to give the learners the opportunity to express themselves or communicate using the English language in all of the activities that the professor has planned, giving them the confidence to do so.
