Tourism Planning and Development
To enable all students to increase awareness of the tourism policy thinking and process with the understanding of various aspects of tourism planning and ability to write strategic planning for a tourism destination.

A study of roles of government sector, private sector and people sector towards tourist destination development in world region in policy level downwards to operational level in local areas; problems and the impacts of former development; tourist destination development and conservation by maintaining balances of economy, society and environment; collaborative planning and development by every sector sustainable development.
4 hours per week

1. In the first teaching session, the lecturer is required to explain causes leading to the subject revision and student advantage upon the revision.
2. Students have to evaluate their self-development by comparing between knowledge and skills before and after the course.
3. Students are required to present their opinions on teaching methods and to develop the subject via university online evaluation.

The students are encouraged to assess teaching quality on many essential variables. These include teaching skills, responsibility, knowledge transferability, course instruction, and teaching media/tools. This information is treated as invaluable feedback as a constant process for teaching improvement.
The lecturer evaluates the teaching quality and students opinions and modifies or improves the teaching method or adds more details to the subject.
