Job Internship in Business Administration

1. Objectives of Field Experience 1. Practicing skills and applying Business Administration (International Business Management) knowledge learned in class 2. Learning new skills or acquiring new information about Business Administration (International Business Management) 3. Enhancing attitudes or motivation toward Business Administration (International Business Management)
2. Reasons for Field Experience Development/Modification 1. Advisor, supervisor and apprenticeship students clearly understand the purpose of internship and learning expectations. 2. Advisors and supervisor can suitably assign tasks, monitor and evaluate the trainee. 3. Students can learn and achieve as prescribed.
1. Course Description of Field Experience Practice through internship at various public and private companies, Students will fill a full position with job description at the company with a employee serving as a advisor to look after and be responsible for the student. Upon completion, students will provide a report of their activities to assess their internship study. Remarks: 1. The internship period must be no fewer than 200 hours.
1.1 Morals and Ethics to be developed (1) Honesty and confidentiality of the company (2) Discipline, punctuality (3) Respect the rules of company. (4) With perseverance, patience. (5) Have responsibility
1.2 Process or Activities (1) Orientation before student start internship (2) Schedule daily work. (3) Requiring compliance with the rules of company, as well as other employees. (4) Students follow the rules of company.
1.3 Evaluation Methods (1) Assess student learning by recording their performance reports. (2) Mentor and administrators evaluate student by observe behavior and expression during internship and record results with a signature performance each week. (3) Supervisor assesses honesty, confidentiality and responsibility of students from the information contained in the reports of the operation.
2.1 Knowledge to be acquired (1) Have knowledge of international business management. (2) Understand how to work in company. (3) Understand management system (4) Understand the roles, regulatory practices of company.
2.2 Process or Activities (1) Arrange mentor to guide about students duties and provide document of the work related to have self-study. (2) Self-study and practice under the supervision of a mentor. (3) Self-learning students from observing and interacting with the staff and study documents.
2.3 Evaluation Methods (1) Assess student learning by recording their performance reports. (2) Evaluate by mentor and supervisor.
3.1 Cognitive Skills to be developed (1) Can analyze and report compliance theoretical knowledge with practical work. (2) Can show knowledge of the concept in theory, properly develop or improve (3) To analyze problems and propose solutions. (4) Can apply theoretical knowledge with the practical work. (5) Ability to think analysis and use of office equipment, computing and financial need by using Information Technology.
3.2 Process or Activities (1) Work as employee. (2) Assign to create project related their works. (3) Supervisor visit student at workplace.
3.3 Evaluation Methods (1) Assess student learning by recording performance reports. (2) Evaluate by mentor and supervision by the reports of the operation.
4.1 Interpersonal Skills and Responsibilities to be developed (1) Responsible for the assignment. (2) Learn your own emotional state. Understanding of working life and can be adapted to work with others. (3) Properly express their feeling and opinions. (4) Develop by learning new things.
4.2 Process or Activities (1) Interact with people on various levels. (2) Work as well as employees. (3) Supervisor visit student at workplace.
4.3 Evaluation Methods (1) Assess student learning by recording performance reports. (2) Mentors assess student’s behavior by observation and interview senior staffs. (3) Assess by performance reports.  
5. Numerical Analysis, Communication and Information Technology Skills 5.1 Numerical Analysis, Communication and Information Technology Skills to be developed (1) Use knowledge of banking and finance to make a proper decision. (2) The ability to present ideas both social and academic to individual and a group of persons both oral presentations and written reports appropriately and effectively (3) Use information technology to communicate ideas and information.
5.2 Process or Activities (1) Presentation about problem and solution of workplace experience. (2) Require performance reports submission date.
5.3 Evaluation Methods (1) Assess student learning by providing reports. (2) Mentor and supervisor evaluate students by numerical analysis. (3) Evaluate internship by operational report.
